I’m a former teacher and current education scholar with three main foci: education, design, and measurement. As such I dabble with topics such as computational thinking, constructive argument in the classroom, standardized testing pros/cons, educational data mining (or learning analytics), language in testing, and teacher evaluation.
As a scholar, I value accessible research that embraces the complexity. As a teacher, I value giving students autonomy and space to play within a topic.
